Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

I bet he is such a blessing. It's awesome you get to work from home too so you can have him right with you. I'd love to see a video or pics of him and Buddy or has Buddy been kicked out of his bed?
He sure is! Yeah I was actually excited because it meant I’d be able to spend more time with the ducklings! ❤️
Lol I will get a video of him and Buddy. Usually he tries to snuggle with Buddy but Buddy runs away! :gig
It’s funny that my 9 year old Sheltie (who weighs 30 lbs) is afraid of itty bitty ducklings!

How adorable ❤️
Thanks! The new baby’s name is Mustard. I’m not sure why but it matched (Pickle, Dill, Cucumber, and Relish) :lau They are all almost the same color and I sometimes call them “the vegetables”

Poor little baby was the only one that made it from my duck Squeegee’s batch. Another had hatched (Tomato) but didn’t make it. Sadly I lost him yesterday. He seemed healthy at first so I’m not sure why. He just quit using his legs yesterday then passed suddenly. I’m thinking he might have had something internally wrong with him but I’m not sure. :(

Fortunately little Bobbles took him right in and now the two of them are besties! The others are so much bigger and wouldn’t be nice but Bobbles is such a sweetheart! ❤️

@Miss Lydia i’ve been meaning to tell you that my rescue drake Pom Pom is doing great! He is in great health now and loves exploring with Crazy! Here’s some pics the two of them just now. You helped his recovery so much!

This is Faith, my last to hatch. I'm not sure she's as tiny as @FunnyfarmMidwest Bobbles, but she's half the size of her look-a-like, Lylah, that I posted before. Faith has more coloring on her face than Lylah and her eyes have always looked quite large but I *think* she's growing into them. She was shrink wrapped and had one leg free while the other was still in the membrane (that part wasn't shrink wrapped, it was only bad around her cheek, neck, shoulder and wing). I worried about assisting too much so I placed her in a cup with the majority of her shell removed and freed from the shrink wrapped membrane so she could rest a bit before leaving her membrane and she was out whenever I woke up in a short time. I believe that caused her to walk with a wider stance. She gets around really well and she's as fast as the others, so I'm hoping she's OK. I'm wondering if I should start supplementing like @FunnyfarmMidwest but I'm thinking I should see how she does on her own. Once I post the comparison picture, please let me know but hopefully she's not as small as I'm thinking she is.

Pardon the blur, but this shows the size difference between Lylah and Faith. The other 2 are nearly the same size difference only a different color. Very odd, right? The size difference has been like this since hatch. Their favorite thing is being fed mash from my fingertips and I oftentimes sneak in and find her eating, so I know she's eating and has nice normal poops, albeit smaller

Tallulah is on the left and her look-a-like Paisley on the right. Tallulah was the 3rd to hatch and she's small like Faith. Other than size, at a quick glance she's very similar to Paisley. She's very timid with humans but otherwise gets along very well with the others. I'm working on gaining her trust so time will tell the story on her personality. She sure is an adorable little fluffy butt and I'm in love!
