I'm in the same boat you are, but I've noticed the same thing. I'm thinking it's probably just their big girl feathers coming in and making their floof look wonky.Hi friends! For some strange reason I always stop receiving notifications whenever a thread gets way up there on replies. I hate I missed so many adorable pictures!!! I came to ask about angel wing and at what point you start wrapping. One of mine has a bit of the hitchhiker look but it's only 3.5 weeks old so it's just some pins pushing the down out and won't it lose these feathers fairly quickly for their nuptial plumage coming in? I feel like I should just keep a close eye on it, but I wanted to ask the experts. It may be just the pins coming in and getting acclimated to the difference. I don't know.
Another question is if anyone has noticed feather growth giving any indication of gender? Three out of 4 had tail feathers before Faith (the runt) even started getting them. Faith seems to run a little bit behind the others, but seems perfectly fine. She's incredibly shy and just feminine. I keep thinking that she reminds me of my Tom (my female Buff Duck) in her personality. I find myself curious about the gender of my cuties constantly! I'll think one of them is sounding awfully quite and then it's just like the others. They're going to be whatever they're going to be and I'm perfectly fine with that but I'm just so darned curious!!! I'm going to drive myselfcrazy!
I'll get some pictures tomorrow
