Thanks for the infoFYI: I've learned 37.7 degrees celsius (Exactly 100F) and for some type of incubators it's 37.1 (98.8F)

White call duck are very hard to breed. I just had 5 eggs from my own ducks and only one survived. Their bloodline is quite thin (is that the way to say it in english?) So the breeding process comes very strict. I had them in a borrought incubator, so didn't know it inside out. My other eggs hatched almost all.. Maybe the transportation was to much...I bought some white call duck eggs on Ebay. I only got 7, and clear at the end of hatch now a couple died right before absorbing the yolk. The whole batch before this all died. It's been sad and disappointing.
I have 3 call duck eggs left. 2 had internally pipped so I started the hatching procedure, but one hadn't after 24 hours yesterday and I could clearly see it's beak in some yellow fluid in the pointy end. I quickly opened the pointy end and used a napkin to soak up the clear yellowish liquid around its beak and completely dry it. There was no blood.
It started chirping. It's still alive so far. If it lives I'll call it Miracle. However, if any of the 3 live they seem to be miracles. I really want these to survive and thrive.
So sorry your hatch has been disappointing. That’s how my last hatch was. It’s so sad when they get so close only to die.I bought some white call duck eggs on Ebay.
