Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

I am definitely going to call him in the morning but am unsure what antibiotic I need for her. Maybe he will be able to take a look and figure it out even though he doesn’t have much experience with ducks.

I've used Clavamox, enrofloxin, and amoxicillian with success. None of these were used for anything respiratory in my birds though. There are a lot of broad spectrum antibiotics out there that are good for respiratory issues.

Great news guys! Mustard went swimming and is running around doing great. She is no longer coughing or showing any respiratory symptoms. I wonder if she ate something or had something stuck in her throat. Whatever it was I’m relieved she’s doing better.

My little duckling is still hanging in there. Still slow going as she is not very tolerant of me digging at the mass. I’ve made a ton of progress, but still a ways to go. We can only handle a few minutes at a time, about every hour in the evenings. So slow going, but still going! She does enjoy sitting on my lap watching tv now though.

31 ducklings... I think one hen is still sitting she has 8 or so eggs. She was running around when I was feeding/ watering though.

I’m so glad to hear that the little one is doing alright. I’m glad you’ve made some progress. That’s adorable that she enjoys watching tv on your lap.
