Woah! I thought I was looking at Lylah for a minute! They look alike so much. I just started noticing the white patches on her cheeks recently and the black/dark V on her bill. I know that all Snowy Calls have a certain look but Fishy Joe seriously looks a lot like Lylah

@Overo Mare I know that your Calls are nearly the same age as mine. I wanted to ask if yours were practing mating yet or if my little innocent Faith is not so innocent.......... She's all about some mating and has been for about 2 weeks now I wasn't prepared to walk out to visit them in the middle of her antics. I wasn’t expecting this so soon with these little ones. I figured they'd start mating around the time they'll start laying (Spring). These little ones are teaching me that I shouldn't ever place expectations on them

She's all about some mating and has been for about 2 weeks now I wasn't prepared to walk out to visit them in the middle of her antics. I wasn’t expecting this so soon with these little ones. I figured they'd start mating around the time they'll start laying (Spring). These little ones are teaching me that I shouldn't ever place expectations on them

The girls like to hump our hands and wrists. They will not allow the boys to practice though. Flip does the "Hey girl hey" dance a lot and sneak attacks the girls often. He still has no clue what he's doing though. Jason doesn't really do anything at all.

Faith just walks out, starts this very monotone quacking & then she squats. It's like she's a little street worker or something No pool necessary. She's just all "Take me here! Take me now! Right now!". If nobody walks across her back, she gets aggravated and walks away. If someone walks across her back or steps on her, she doesn't seem as annoyed. If Paisley actually makes an attempt, it's almost like she gets annoyed after a while. In her defense, his inexperience paired with this happening on dry land, I imagine that would be frustrating. I haven't noticed any attempts by the others or any in their pool. She's just so little! Paisley and Tulley are both in the pool and on dry land trying to impress the girls, but Lylah already told everyone how things were going to go

I was shocked at my first littles too at how early they started in with those antics. Long before egg laying was a thought in their little pea brains.

I think mine are younger than your group, and they are getting down for sure. They seem to favor Riley, which is great because he's not related to them! CoB is the biggest skank I've got at the moment. She follows Riley everywhere shamelessly bobbing and squeaking at him. He sighs, then obliges.

My girls won't even entertain the boys for a single second. Flip tries to get busy... sort of - he's so awkward and clumsy. They all run him off though when he goes in for a stealth hump.
