Look at the defiant stance. lol They are so adorable.Babies went swimming today! They had alot of fun!
It seems as though everyone but Bean is going through the rebellious teenage phase already! They sure grow up too fast.![]()
@shawluvsbirds @WVduckchickAlso question,
I’ve haven’t hatched eggs (never calls) via broody in a long time and am a bit rusty. I have her separated from the rest of the flock. She is under the shelf with a little fence around her.
Will I need to give her eggs safety holes? With my incubator calls, none have even attempted to get out on their own so far. Would it hurt to give them safety holes? Is it not needed?
Thanks! I wasn’t sure if they would or not. I appreciate the advice!My call duck hens never need assistance.![]()
Aww they are certainly defiant!Look at the defiant stance. lol They are so adorable.![]()
Ok, thanks! I’ll see how it goes. I’m thinking I’ll check them and if it’s been a while from internal pip I might possibly add one but I’ll leave them be if not.I've let my Muscovy hatch many eggs and never did any safe holes but I sure wouldn't want to say not to and something may happen.
