Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

Pics
I almost want to say khaki. Do you have some pictures as a younger duckling?
Ooh that would be neat! Thanks for replying! Yes I do, here’s a few! ;)

Hmm. Definitely lighter than the gray and the black bibbed, so some kind of dilution is happening. Doesn't look quite brown enough to be chocolate though so Khaki might be out. But you can see him and I can't and the pictures might be a little off, lol, so let me ask, did he have coloring like a khaki campbell duckling as a baby?

He was a very light blueish but not the color of a blue fawn (darker). He had a brown tinge near the ends of his downy feathers but not quite as brown as a khaki Campbell. More blue with a brown tinge than anything. (Sorry my explanation is not good, I’m not good with colors )

Edit: you know I found a picture in better lighting and it looked like it’s color was close to a khaki Campbell duckling.

It is so hard to capture the true color of them in a picture too. :barnie

When you have a chance take it out in the daylight that usually works better than anything.

it definitely is! I see one color and the picture shows it completely different! In the morning I will get some photos out in the light! Thanks for the tip! ;)
