Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

Adorable! The black bibbed is stunning! :love
Thanks so much! Yes she sure is! Looks just like her daddy that passed. She has a lot of white on her face which I like. ❤️

This was her dad Splash. I miss him so much but am very glad she and the others will carry on his legacy. He was just gorgeous. 🥰

Here’s Beans, Chip and Splash jr at 7 weeks. They grow too fast. Beans is a drake and the other two are hens. They were all playing follow the leader which apparently is me... :lau

So flipping adorable and sweet! Beautiful little ducks!

Is this the coloring my dark ducklings will likely have, depending on gender?
I apologize if this is a silly question but this is new to me. Nat called them grays, right? @WVduckchick Of course I may be wrong but that's sticking out in my mind for some reason.
Also, the nutritional yeast was delivered today @Miss Lydia . Hopefully I ordered the correct thing. After looking at the MANY options at Amazon, I settled on nonfortified. Anxious to offer this to the calls and my big ducks

My ducklings are a week old today, with the exception of Faith my little one that hatched in the wee hours of last Sunday morning. In your opinion, do you think it'd be safe for them to take a swim in a small plastic tub with warm water inside the house? If necessary I can give them limited time, wrap them up in a towel for a few minutes to remove excess water after getting them out and place under a heat lamp or heat plate. Or do you think it'd be better to just let the bigger two swim and give the littles a couple/few more days? Or just give them all a few days longer before letting them take a swim? Thoughts? Not sure if this makes a difference or not but they won't use the heat plate anymore, we'll except for jumping on top of it. I started using a heat lamp once I noticed this and they have started moving away from being under it, even though I'm raising it a tiny bit whenever I notice them spending nap times away from it.
