@Pyxis little Beans is almost fully feathered now. I’d love to get your opinion on his color when you have time.View attachment 2646444View attachment 2646445View attachment 2646446View attachment 2646447View attachment 2646448View attachment 2646449View attachment 2646450View attachment 2646451View attachment 2646452
Thanks so much for replying! He looked so different as a duckling so I wasn’t sure. I’ll have to see what his drake feathering will look like. If he’s a regular blue fawn he’ll have the white ring right? If he would be a blue fawn dusky do they have the ring? I’m asking because I think that’s what is daddy is. He has no neck ring.Well, now I'm back around to thinking Blue Fawn, lol.
Thank you for asking. My little flock of four seem to be doing well. They're certainly growing up way too fast! It's crazy! I'm so anxious to find out their genders that it's driving me bonkers. I certainly can't change it, so it is whatever it is, but I'm so impatient. They've started doing this one syllable high pitched peep anytime they're nervous and it's just one more reminder at how they're growing into these little independent mostly self reliant ducks and they'll be waddling around outside before I know it. I've also decided that four call Ducks isn't enough. I need more!!! Over this weekend, I got everything I need for two duck houses. My big ducks will keep their existing duck house, the calls will get this new house and the other one will be an extra for ducks feeling unwell or drakes that are being a bit too drakey and harassing the girls, so a hospital/jail type thing, or a possible call duck overflow@HeatherKellyB , @WVduckchick , @shawluvsbirds , and @Overo Mare
how are all your call ducklings doing?
Pretty good! Running away from me like I'm an ax murderer.@HeatherKellyB , @WVduckchick , @shawluvsbirds , and @Overo Mare

So it's not just me, huh? I feel so bad. Faith, my littlest one is the worst about it and has some lungs that will rival an adult duck. I didn't want to hold her too much to begin with because she was so tiny and told my daughter the same. Both of my smallest seem to be far more terrified. I've even tried greeting them at their level but we must look pretty darn spooky. The two larger ducklings, seem to enjoy being held, once we get them picked up. None of them enjoy being caught. It's a good thing they're so adorable!Pretty good! Running away from me like I'm an ax murderer
I’m so glad to hear that your call flock is doing well. They do grow up too fast! Yes, that’s always so exciting when you find out their genders. Call ducks are too addicting.... before you know it you’ll have 20!Thank you for asking. My little flock of four seem to be doing well. They're certainly growing up way too fast! It's crazy!
