Preppers were right! No toilet paper in the stores due to Coronavirus scare.

Our local Wal-Mart is out of TP, a few other stores in town have some though. We were almost out so I stopped at the Dollar General here to pick up some TP and I kid you not I saw several peeps with shopping carts FILLED with TP, Paper towels, and disinfectant wipes, etc. You would think we're in some sort of apocalypse:he
It's called a pandemic....

I am usually stocked UP on Spic & Span antibacterial spray cleaner $ 1.00 for 22 oz. at of course Dollar Tree. I always have it around because it's also a great bug/spider and even wasp killer. Never realized till lately that it says "kills bacteria & viruses." I buy the green stuff. Once got purple Spic & Span, and the fragrance was off putting. Ugh.

Since I'm an ice cream addict (check my avatar). I stocked up on ice cream brands I DON'T LIKE, this way it will last much longer.

I do have a decent stock of TP (always do) but if I run out have quite a few boxes of Kleenex, etc. which will do if necessary. I have frequent sinus episodes - so there's that.

That brings up the question, what is a decent stock of TP? I think that maybe your gender determines that answer. When Dear Wife showed me that we "only" had another 24 rolls of TP in the closet, I'm thinking I would be fine until sometime next year. Evidently, I am wrong and it's time to panic. OK, buying TP is her thing and I have no clue on how much she uses. I suggested she only use the TP for actually wiping the bottom. She was ready to throw me out of the house...

:old Just goes to show that you can be married for 30+ years and still be clueless. I think we will be stocking more TP in the future once the stores are refilled.

I'm in pa and I only noticed hand sanitizer out if stock but what I don't understand is I heard overuse if hand sanitizer can kill the good bacteria off your hands a few years ago I saw on the news kids were getting sick from constantly using hand sanitizer

I don't get it either. It is now on kids back to school shopping lists here even for preschool level. I heard of kids eating it because they stick their hands in their mouth. It also makes my hands burn, too. I am sensitive to the alcohols. Microparticle colloidal silver is my go to.

It’s been insane over here, my Dad overheard at Costco an employee talking saying that they’d gotten a load of bottled water and by 3pm it was completely gone. He can’t find paper towels anywhere, so we haven’t been using them at all. He bought a ton of toilet paper, bread, and other frozen foods. I’ve had a strange obsession with Cheerios lately and he had bought another box, but last night I noticed it was hidden... no doubt from me! my mom has been sick lately and can only eat a few foods without pain (she is getting better) so my dad has been really stressed trying to stock up on those things.

That's odd. I can't get enough Honey Nut Cheerios lately. I won't even admit how fast I go through a box but I have Cheerios for snacks and meals, every single day. After reading your post, I immediately thought, "hmmm... Are they putting something addictive in the Cheerios?". Of course that's completely silly. I know they are just so delicious. It's almost 2am here so my brain has given up for now, until at least 5am tomorrow :D

ha my husband uses TP at least 4 times my use. I agree it's gender related.
