Beautiful. If I was you I would cut and add two gable vents at the peaks of the gables. This will let fumes out year round and will prove to be invaluable to exhaust heat in summertime instead of allowing it to build up inside during the day. An added bonus is that it will allow you to completely close the coop windows overnight in case of really cold weather. (Wintertime drafts at roosting height are to be avoided if possible for the comfort of the chooks)

Thank you...We are going to put chicken wire over the windows and will also have removable lexan windows for winter. Will post more pics as it progresses!
 
SOOOOOOO my babies are FINALLY IN THEIR COOP!!!! I am so eggcited! It was dark so the pics are kinda dark and blurry but here we go...More to follow in the next couple of days!

He actually slept in today. Maybe because we moved them once they were sleeping last night. As I type he is crowing away every 20 seconds or so. I found a good home for him which he will be going to this evening. The man has quite a few hens and has been wanting a roo. We'll miss Chester!
