Hi. My 4 month old (exactly) chicken just laid her first egg, and I don't really know what to do with it. I've read that chicken eggs, if they aren't washed, don't have to be refrigerated. I'm wondering what's the best choice as to preserving the eggs/keeping them until they are eaten.
Do different methods allow them to be kept longer than others? Do certain methods cause different tastes/characteristics in the eggs?
Thanks,
