I never had a turkey,but when we got the roo I kept a huge wooden dowl(sp) handy in case he tried to spur me. I would take on the turkey to lock up my chickens.Shoot,I would get rid of the turkey or move him to a dog crate since he is preventing you from securing your chickens at night. I can't imagine losing a chicken a day.I would rather lose the turkey that a chicken a day.

Hope you catch the killer,but from what I have seen in my own yard.......there is always more.
