If I can keep infection out, do you think that the wound may heal? Really hoping so as my ducks are pets to me.
Yes ignore will heal and look okay, but it might always be broken/fractured and possibly become uncomfortable if she is ever mated. But I have a male Muscovy that broke his wing in a fight with another male and after some time the bone reset ( not in the same place) so it is technically not broken anymore. It it doesn't cause discomfort unless he does try to fly. She should be fine as long as she is kept clean.
Also what I read from your plan design enclosure is an aviary, I keep all of my birds in aviaries other than the muscovies. You have to be so critical in the building if there is any speculation that something might be able to get in, it for sure will find a way in. You have to be very careful and just be sure nothing can get in. I welded metal hardware cloth and chain link into wood to make a tight and secure place for my birds

Also I recommend that when you build it you go over what you think is enough room to be sure that it can stay nice and clean. Aviaries also take a lot of work cleaning and maintains to stay looking nice. But it is totally worth it. What I do for cleaning is I stop in December becuase leaves willing stop falling till march so I just let it all be natural until March, then I remove the ducks place them in a temporary enclosure then sweep away leaves, cut away overgrowth and drain the pond and refill it ( which is usually a weekly thing anyway). Also I have water soaking plants planted near the pool so that it won't turn into a giant mud puddle.
