Chirping
Sort of just an excuse to post pics of my pretty girls... but wanted confirmation that they are girls!! They are approximately 7 weeks old. Their combs have been starting to come up this week, and they are developing pink/red spot where the wattles will be. It is my first time with chickens and it is fun watching them grow! I swear they get bigger each time I look at them.
Pepper the Barred Rock -- aka "spicy pepper" she is the smallest but definitely the boss! She likes posing for pictures.
Sydney is the Black Australorp, and Ginger is the RIR. Pepper again in the middle. Sydney and Ginger's comb height about the same. They will do anything for a slice of tomato!
