Pricing eggs for sale from home

I sell mine for 3.00 a dozen in Texas.Eggs are going up in the gro store due to an egg shortage caused by bird flu and changes in the egg industry

I sell mine for $2.50/doz. or $3.25/18 pack and my customers like my prices. My fresh egg sales have even been increasing since the prices are going up in the stores.

On Long Island by me $4 or $4.50 a dozen for the longest time I expect they should be going up this year

I sell my eggs for $4 now what have learned is you got to stand out what I do is I have discount cards buy 4 doz. Eggs get 1 doz.free this is only for new customers this keeps them going to you because if they buy 3 doz. They want to get the deal so they well come back by that time they would be eating your eggs and when they finish and get there free doz. And go back to buy store eggs they realize your are higher quality and go back to buying from you. I aslo give them a brochure with a little story about how I raise my hens and pictures of the hens and were there
housed . People like feeling that they know there local farmer and how good the hens are treated. Its all about gaining loyal customers that have brand loyalty to your brand of eggs
