With mine, I'm hoping to produce a buff and white bird, instead of a redish/gold and white. I crossed a Buff Orp roo with a white broiler breeder hen and hatched one hen that was so beautiful, buff head, buff lacing in the breast, and white towards the back half of her. However the Cornish Rock broiler birds are dominant white so the hen's wasn't sexlinked. I crossed the same hen with a RIR roo and got the normal all white chicks with black dots, that is normally produced from a dominant white cross. For sexlinks, the white hen has to be recessive white and the RIWs are. I will start hatching some or this cross this spring, as well as a
BO roo X SLW hen which will also produce some sort of sexlink. I will post pics of the chicks when they hatch.
