Probably a silly question about cocks

So I have a question regarding cocks. The largest one and the second largest have lived together for a long time so they don't fight at all pretty much. However when we introduced one of the rooster to the two the large one ran up to it but didn't do much since the newcomer was quick to submit without violence. When we brought the prick there however the large rooster went medieval on him and he fought back. I understand that they would fight but one there was a victor they would have established their hierarchy and the fighting would recede. I was wondering if this would be considered illegal cockfighting. I mean we don't bet on them nor encourage this behavior but we do let it run its course and observe during the occasions it happens.

No your not promoting cock fighting. it's normal behaver for roosters to decided who's boss.
