Problem with pictures...

Is it just me?!? For some reason, when I post pictures, I need to rotate then 90degree counterclockwise first.

Here is an picture direct from my camera:



So if I want it to look right, I have to edit it with an image editor software,and do the rotation:



I mean, I guess I can do the rotation all the time, but its kind of a pain. Any idea what is going on?

Don't know what the problem is....

Oh I just thought of something. When you take your pics are you turning your camera sideways? It happens to me when I take pics like that.

These are from my iPhone. Strange thing is that when I view the pictures on the computer, they look fine. I may need to try some experiments, such as from a different camera...

The computer is reading the information embedded in the image and automatically rotating the image during display. We don't dive into that info when we load images, so if you took the pic sideways we don't know which way is the correct position.
