I shipped out a batch of eggs Tuesday. 6 orp eggs, and she added 8 more eggs- 4 RIR and 4 FBCM- I packaged them and sent them-i even paid extra to ship and didnt charge her- i get an email that 4 eggs broke- I sent them over 3000 miles. I kindly offered a refund for the broken eggs or to reship provided she pay shipping, All I am getting is negative e-mails and accusations of I didnt send as many as she ordered, and that I should just send her a whole replacement batch with me paying shipping, and that she paid X number of dollars and shouldnt have to pay for shipping. She is getting very ugly and I am scared I will get neg feedback. I have offerd the refund or replacement eggs. What next? I am tired of arguing with her... I guess i'll never win...

You've already told her what you could do...which is more than fair. There's nothing else you can do.

If she gives you negative feedback, you can post a short explanation right under the feedback she leaves you...something like: offered to replace, customer refused.

Sorry,

there's just no pleasing some people.

Heather, obviously she must never have ordered eggs before, because it is out of your hands once it hits the post office. You have done more than most sellers would do, I wouldn't worry about it. If there is negative feedback left, I think you can leave feedback too, and you can say how you tried to do everything possible to appease her.

I have gotten shipped eggs that were cracked, broken, and several orders that never hatched. Thats just the way of shipped eggs sometimes. When you order eggs, most people understand that.

I buy off of E-bay on occasion and I always look at the negative feedback first. Especially when it is someone with a high rating. More often than not it is some clown who will never be satisfied and the seller points this out.

How did you package them? We sell on ebay and ship coast to coast all the time without broken eggs. When we get complaints I always ask them to send pics. Last year we had a person claim to recieve broken eggs and when they sent pics of a smashed box (not the standard size #7 shipping box we use) and broken eggs in an egg carton (we wrap in bubble wrap). I sent them an email back saying that wasn't the eggs they got from us. The answer back was "oh so sorry, I got you confused with somebody else". Ya right, egg scammer all the way. If they give you a neg feedback the only thing you can do is choose your wording carefully in answer, you don't want to come off as bad seller. Another thing i do is block the buyer if they are a PIA. Sometimes they will come back later and ask why they can't bid. lol

There is a nut bag on ebay that will buy and lie. I had 1139 positive feedbacks and she bought from me and attacked. She wanted more eggs and I refused. She bought 2 auctions and I sent them for next to nothing with extra eggs. She saved 14.00 s&h on the first box and then bid on another and when I told her I had no more eggs to sell she went weird...I googled the name at it was unbelievable the number of scams this person made. She can not be stopped because ebay makes money. Sad but seller can not leave negitive feedback. I have blocked her and tons of others have blocked her. She says broken egg, nothing in box when it arrived and tons more lies. It is real sad that ebay allowes this crap. I even sold here on BYC and said no sales to Montana and got flames for it. I will not sell to this thing and have even contacted other sites about her. We live and learn.

This sounds good to me... I buy eggs on ebay quite a bit, and if I see negative feedback I just read it and I see a lot of looser buyers. The only time I've had trouble is I once bought some eggs that, all 12 where clear at 10 day candleing even though we had other eggs with them developing. I emailed the seller and she gave me a compleat refund... I thought that was a little overboard on costomer service! She said ' I'm not trying to get rich on egg selling' I gave her very positive feed back.
Sometimes people are unreasonable. My mom used to sell a lot on ebay and she said that its become very difficult because ebay has made it hard for sellers, she doesn't sell as much because of this.

I always look at the seller's feedback too and can tell the nuts when they leave negative feedback, especially if the seller responds to it saying what really happened. I don't think, even if she did leave negative feedback, that one would hurt any
