Problems with eggs on e-bay

Quote:
This sounds good to me... I buy eggs on ebay quite a bit, and if I see negative feedback I just read it and I see a lot of looser buyers. The only time I've had trouble is I once bought some eggs that, all 12 where clear at 10 day candleing even though we had other eggs with them developing. I emailed the seller and she gave me a compleat refund... I thought that was a little overboard on costomer service! She said ' I'm not trying to get rich on egg selling' I gave her very positive feed back.
Sometimes people are unreasonable. My mom used to sell a lot on ebay and she said that its become very difficult because ebay has made it hard for sellers, she doesn't sell as much because of this.

I do the same thing, I just read what happened and usually order. I would just let her give you a negative and you explain.

We sold a dress that we had bought for my daughter and it had never been worn and the lady told us that it was severely yellowed so we offered refund for the dress and she started a claim because she didn't want to pay the shipping either. The dress was in PERFECT condition but she lied and said item not as described. So for the sake of not getting a bad feedback we refunded her full purchase price plus shipping wich was a whopping 10.99 for a brand new heartstrings dress! The nerve of some people! I feel your pain!

I'd say let folks leave you negative feedback, and when you reply to the negative be very courteous. I think most folks that buy on eBay will look at the negs and see if they look justified. But even if it's an obvious case of a person that can't be pleased, I pay attention to how the seller responds to see if they sound like someone that I want to deal with. If they leave a nasty reply, I will likely look elsewhere.

well-I told her I wasnt asking for an attitude after the 3rd attack e-mail. she apologized and told me she'd let me know what she wanted- My ebay seller name is heathersboers also. I have never had anyone complain about my shipped eggs. I ship with bubblewrap- wrapped ind. packed with poly filling or in a carton sandwiched with poly filling. I told her in my last e-mail tht if she wanted to pay the shipping- I would send what broke plus extras and make it worth her while- i REALLY dont want neg feedback.... E-bay is my bill money, and if my rep is ruined-I might as well give up altogether on ebay...

You can protest negative feedback on ebay. Also, did you put in your ad that you cannot be responsible for eggs after they are shipped, or for hatchability rates? Thats all you needed to say, and other egg orderers' will not hold it against you.

It's cheaper for you to give her a full refund and be done. Ebay will be able to see that you did so and you won't get "in trouble"... she still may leave negative feedback regardless of what you do to kiss her rear. Just the chance you take... my best advice is give a refund... and walk away. DO NOT LEAVE feedback for her. wait.... she may forget or be scared to leave neg. fb for you because you still can leave fb for her. If you have already left fb... you still can leave "followup" feedback... save that for when this is all settled.

Your reputation will not be ruined. Most that look at Fb do so KNOWING how ebay is. There is always that one person who LOVES to try to get steals and deals out of sellers. People know that.

I sell on ebay too... and I had one of these negative people come around last year... feedback is still 100%. One negative doesn't effect you the way you think. People can see through the BS.... everyone saying great things and one saying you suck... don't worry... Forget about it!!

Good luck trying to get ebay to take it off. I had threats on me that if I did not sell more eggs than she would trash me. Kept all my emails amd sat on the phone 4 days over 6 hours trying to get the feedback off because it was a lie and I had emails to prove. No luck. There was also a black list on facebook for this idiot! Ebay is for the person spending money.

You made an offer to make good and she demands more and will not be nice.
Forget her. Block her from your auctions and if she leaves a negative just reply below like it has been suggested.

I also read the negatives.

Yes there are some nasty people out there. I had a nasty seller once who liked to call people names and make them miserable if you didn't leave them a positive feedback.
