I've been trying and trying to post my avatar but with no luck. I've reduced it through my own picture program and the Resize Images link but all I get is a message saying that it is still too large when I know for sure it's the right size. Could it be because of my Windows Vista? Is there some special trick that I'm missing?

Thanks roomanred. I tried with photobucket and it still does the same thing. I shrunk it and saved it and tried to post but it still says it's too big. Arrgh...so frustrating. Maybe I'll have to try on another computer.

I have vista also. DW did mine for me. She says on photo bucket click on picture you want and when pic comes up you want to edit, click on arrow next to resize. A window will drop down, click on more options, when screen changes you should see a bar that says preset sizes, click on the down button, the first one say avatar, click on it. then click save. After it saves scroll down to right hand side, you want HTML code. go back to your profile on byc and put code in profile for avatar. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for trying to help. Unfortunately, it still didn't work. When I copy and paste the HTML code directly from photo bucket and click the submit button nothing happens. I don't even get the "too big" message. When I copied and saved the photo and put it in my pictures then entered it into the avatar upload it comes up with the "too big" message. I must be doing something wrong if it works for you and you have vista.

Anyway...thanks again...

On photo bucket I resized it to the Avatar suggestion and on my adobe photo shop I resized it to smaller than 100 x 100 like instructed. ugh...I thought I was doing it correctly.
