PRODUCTION Toulouse Geese Thread!!

So now that Pear has a boyfriend she doesn't like me anymore! Maybe not that she doesn't like me but she refuses to walk into arms reach now and backs up when I get into the pin, she used to try to trip me!

Her affections are else where, mom try not to take it too hard. It's called empty nest syndrome takes a bit of getting use to.

Not to worry. She still likes you but she has other priorities now. It is much like when your daughter starts to date, suddenly daddy's little girl has other interest. She still love her parents but is busy with other, to her, more important issues. Look at this as an experience that will help both you and Pear to grow toward your futures.

Grrrr... Kiwi... :(

I let Pear and Kiwi into the big yard today but they won't get into the pool. I thought they would want to swim or maybe Kiwi would try to mate with Pear again, but nope. Hmmm...

While getting them back in their pin Pear ran for her life from me.

I had to corner her and pick her up and carry her back in, she was honking the whole time. I'm afraid shes really scared of me now.
They go through so many changes, my 2 lil ones who are now 5 months old would probably freak out if I tried to pick them up now. Try not to take it personally it's just the way of the goose. She will probably still like to hang out with you but Kiwi is her main focus now. Mine like for me to come outside and spend time with them and Toots will still get pretty close but if I put my hand out like I want to touch her she moves away. Babe just stands at a distance and watches.
