And this one. She might go to the crested project later or be sold I've not decided yet.

These are very nice looking, what is their make up.
I for sure know they have Phoenix in them. The only birchen I have that I know of is a bantam Ameraucana. So the birchen one should be from her.

The other I'm not sure on. My only single combs are the Phoenix, a few bantam cochins, American Orpington and a d'uccle. All the rest are pea comb, v-comb and rose comb. Of those the Phoenix are silver and goldens, the cochins are gold laced, silver laced and a blue, the d'uccle is milflure and the two Orpingtos are lavenderand lavender mottled. I'm guessing if one of the rosecombed birds was not homozygous for it or one of the pea combs was not homozygous for that she could have come from there as well.

All the pea combs have muffs and beards along with the d'uccle. The v-combs have crests. The cochins have feathers on the legs. So I don't think it's out of any of those.

Progress

Stopped so I could research how to brace the panels better. My other one behind the one that's in progress the panel is sandwiched between a garden tembers and 4x6s so it's fairly rigid. The new one I have the panels straped to the top of the 4x4s so it has more give and flex. Once I figure out the bracing they should be done rather quickly.

Also thinking of writing an article on these hoopcoops. I'm making them in sections so they can be added to at a later date. Also trying to construct them with little to no cutting of materials if I can help it.
