Prolapse and vent gleet

I have a pullet who is egg bound with a prolapses vent. The egg is hanging out of her vent and is wrapped inside the tissue. I think she also has vent gleet and possible internal bleeding. The tissue that the egg is in is bright red. I have done everything I can to try to help her. My question is if we end her misery can the meat be eaten?

This is her first egg it is sod shell and oddly shaped. We have cleaned her up, soaked her in a warm bath to relax her, fed her tums, put vitamins and electrolytes in her water, put vasaline on her vent to lube it up and moisturize the lining and we put her in a dog crate and secluded her. The egg is hanging all the way out of the vent and we can not even find a hole in the lineing for the egg to come through she is still pushing but the egg has no exit. I don't know of anything else I can do to help her and I don't want her to suffer. I have someone who is willing to put her out of her misery but he wants to use the meat so I want to be sure its safe to eat.

This is the best picture I can get for now.

I've only had one like those and I kept poking around until I found the opening and somehow managed to get the egg out. Once the egg was out I cleaned her prolapse with saline and chlorhexadine and reinserted it. She did recover.

Can you post a picture?

I've been cleaning it about once every couple hours and apply more vasaline to keep it from drying out. Then I search for the hole for a while until she gets sick of me holding her but I cant find it. I let her rest for about an hour or so in between and when I go check on her it will be completely covered in that white stinky film and poop.

We did gently try to push the egg back in but it does not want to go back in. The egg is a soft shell and feels very fragile. If the egg does break I dont know if I would be able to remove all the peices the way her tissue is covering the the hole.
