It's easiest to put the Nutri-drench in the water, about a quarter teaspoon to a quart of water.
Does she seem to be straining to pass an egg? Is she swollen under her vent and down into the abdomen? Any discharge from the vent?
Are her eyes open and bright? Is she moving around at all? Where is her tail when she's standing up? Is it low and flat or up and perky?
Okay, thank you so much!
She just got through eating a raw egg yolk mixed with chicken feed. I dipped her beak in the water (with the Nutri-Drench added) 4 or 5 times, to make sure she got enough. I also dipped her beak in water without the nutri drench a couple of times after she ate (she did not like the nutri drench water).
She tried to jump out of my lap into the brooder after sitting there for 5 minutes, she is back in the brooder under the heat lamp.
It's good that she is eating. Hiding the calcium in PB is a good idea.
Mine aren't too keen on Nutri-Drench water either, so I usually direct dose or drip it on some scrambled egg. You could also mix it with her egg/feed mixture and she is you can slip it in that way.
Just keep her hydrated, so if plain water is what she will take, that's fine.
Photos of her poop if you have them - I'm a bit concerned that she is not pooping(?)
