Ok, now I'm laughing. The creams for athletes foot, jock itch, and yeast infection is all the same stuff. If you read the ingredient listed on them it is exactly the same, but the tube marketed for atheletes foot is a couple dollars less. Gotta love marketing! Go ahead and use the M-7 if you have it handy.

Poor thing, I hope you're able to get it figured out. I suppose prep h would be better then the anti-fungal if it's a rectal prolapse. Kids and critters, if it's not one thing it's three others.

I agree Prep-h.
But still becareful putting her out with others, becouse if another chicken sees anything they will pick at her vent and can couse more promblems for her, make sure she is fully back to normal fisrt before putting her back.

Well for those of you that has been helping and supporting me.


She is doing good! Like I said before her butt went in but no poo. So last night I let her drink some veggie oil with water and this morning I tried to see if by putting my finger in there I could get her to go. Well she went big time! lol now she is going on her own. Smelled like something died!

Since the butt went in and she is no longer dripping I have her running around the house right now so she can get some exercise. I would let her out but the weather stinks right now and I am not ready to put her with the other girls yet. I want to make sure she eats and continues to poop.


Treatment: soaked her in epson salt and a mild soap to clean her.
took veggie oil (you can use mineral oil too) and warm water mixed used baby medicine dropper and flushed her vent.
Used tucks pads added extra witch hazel on pad so it was really wet, with the tucks pad I pushed in her vent after soaking it on there for a bit.

Her vent went in no poop: so I gave her veggie oil and water mix to drink and 12 hours later I put my finger in vent to see if poo would come out. It did and now she is pooping fine.
