Prolapsed vent help

Unfortunately a vet isn’t an option, though we would take her if we could.
My mom was taking a turn holding her and the hen was starting to get restless. We had been holding her over an hour so we thought it would be ok to set her down for a minute, but it immediately fell back out. It still looks just as bad as it did to start with. I’m afraid we waited too long to do anything and now it’s too late to fix at home.
My duck had a pretty serious prolapse and had bleeding that’s why vet intervention was necessary.
Your hen’s situation is probably better, how is she doing today?

She was a little bloody when I got her this morning. Nothing was any further out, but it does look like it may have gotten a little dry overnight. It went back in pretty easily, and I’m holding onto her for a while in hopes that it helps it stay. She’s a little weaker today too, I don’t think she ate or drank much yesterday, but she did have some water today.

Is she pooping? Can you try to tempt her to eat with some scrambled egg bits or tuna, and some chicken feed mix with water?
Sorry I was posting when you posted about trying to pass droppings.

She had a watery poop a few minutes before with no repeated prolapse, but now it just feels like she’s trying to push out the bit of insides. She doesn’t seem interested in food at the moment.

She seems to have more energy this morning and it eating, which makes me feel better. It also looks like the prolapse isn’t as far out as it was before. I’m going to give her a little more time to get some food and water before I try again to put it back.
That’s a good sign! I hope she recovers soon
Give her electrolytes and multivitamin supplements and B complex, it helped with my duck. Also give her watery food to help her with passing poop
