It sounds like you are giving up. That is O.k. You will know when you have had enough and she has had enough. Unfortunately, you are facing one of the downsides of having chickens, or any animals, for that matter. I'm sorry. I'm not the one to advise you in this matter so I hope someone who has been in this situation can help you. The act of loving this little creature will guide you.

Just saw your post that she passed away. She did you a great favor. You did not have to make the decision to end her life. You really put in a heroic effort to save it. You need to feel good about that.

She ended up taking the decision out of our hands. She died on her own in her sleep. I’m sad to lose her but I’m glad that she doesn’t have to suffer anymore.
