Could a swollen vent be the reason my chick is having a hard time passing a proper bowel movement? I have been Epsom salt soaking her, using triple antibiotics, ACV in water and I just used hydrocortisone to see if that will take the swelling down some. After nothing else worked to relieve her my husband and I did actually have to do an enema and she seemed less uncomfortable but that was last night and now she can't get it out and when she tries she just barely does it and then it goes back in. It doesn't come out enough for me to knock it out either. I just feel bad bc she seems in alot of pain

Picture would help, thinking you mean a prolapsed vent.

looks much better after using the hydrocortisone and actually had a smaller bowl movement when I was holding her but she still struggled to get the whole thing out. I just got up and took this so this is exactly what it looks like now

That is the patient? Looks like a newly hatched chick from the photo. I'm sure I'm not getting all the info I need here.

Exactly how long has this chick been in the world?

Thanks for the tag, I'm not entirely sure what might be going on, but I'll tag a few members.
@azygous @MGG

What does her crop feed like? Is it large, hard, doughy, flat? Is it draining overnight? To check that you would have to remove food and water before bed, and it should be flat in the morning. What do her poops look like?
I wouldn't say that it's large. It feels the same as my healthy chicks crops. I will take the food away tonight and check again in the morning and update, also her poops haven't been the same when she does get some out. They really change from one to the next but as of right now she can't get any poops out at all. Last night she had half a bowel movement that was a little watery.
