Agrees 18 should be fine.
I did 16 last year and by the time they didn't all fit under they didn't really need it any more,
they just kind oozed out the front and back.

Oh, yeah! That's always so funny to watch! And they sure don't need the heat long....

Don't know if everyone knows this already, but I just talked to Sunbeam today and the lady said they have upgraded all of their heating pads to auto-off. I trolled eBay just now and put a bid on one (please don't snipe me! lol) and bought another outright hoping they're old enough to stay on. The one I'm pretty sure is because they showed the tag that warns against sleeping with it.

So, might want to hurry up and scrounge around.

Not necessarily...not all their pads had the auto-off feature.
