Public messaging?

It appears I can't post public messages. Is this just me, or everyone else?

OK. Because I was going to reply to one and noticed there was no space. And saw no space on my own profile either.

Can you provide specific details? What exactly are you doing, clicking, etc? What links / URLs are you on when you are clicking? Basically we need step by step details so we can do exactly what you're trying to do.

Myself, all I'm doing is going to my profile. I tried all three ways -- my name in a post, the "Profile" link in the brown bar up top, and my name up top under the brown bar. (Or anyone else's profile.)
I see past public messages but no box to type in, saying "Write something to Lothiriel here."
