I absolutely 100% appreciate everybody's help with this matter. He is such a good boy I really wanna fix him

NOW, when I asked is he sneezing while he's swimming.  Answer:  NO,  WHAT?  have you ever seen a duck go swimming and they always like to dunk there heads in the water and splash it out, squirting water every where to try and clean out there nostrils but this little guy isn't doing that.  HUM.

SOOO At this point what I would do, is take his happy butt, take a Qtip wet it, and clean the inside of his nose, Loosening up all the gooy stuff that's in there.   THEN put him in the Bath tub with some NICE warm Water, Let him swim in there, You may have to change the water a couple of times because he will probably turn the water Brown.  LOL

Let him Try to get as CLEAN as he can.  Clear out those nostrils.  Let him do his Bobbing thing and go to TOWN..  See if he can Unclog himself or get anything that may be in those nostrils out..  Once he is done try squeezing the checks to see if anything come shooting out. 

If so, then he'll need his tylan orally for a few days.

I have notices that he doesn't do a whole lot of the head dunking like the girls do would it be beneficial at all to flush it out myself or see if he will go on and do it?

this is rather frustrating we brought him in tried to clean his nose and put him in the tub he won't dunk his head at all so now I'm not sure what to do.

Do you have anything you could do a warm flush with? Would a netti pot solution work?

I have searched the net trying to find a close up picture of what it should look like and can't find one if anybody has a picture of their ducks nare could you please post it

I was also thinking if you have a syringe - not with a needle, just the kind for squirting liquid, you might be able to syringe just a little mild saline solution, warm not hot, into the nare on the puffy cheek side, maybe get him started.

I know when I'm congested/having a hard time, netti pot solution does wonders!

you have to walk away they won't do it if you sitting there staring at him make sure the water is warm.
