Could you explain what you mean by address her symptoms as they appear? Like isolate her and give her Tylosin again? If it's just the one hen, then no, I wouldn't treat the whole flock. I'd just address her symptoms as they appear.
Could she have something else going on like reproductive problems or a crop that is not emptying that may be causing some respiratory distress?
Yes, if she's the only one having symptoms of respiratory illness (coughing, sneezing, bubbles from the eyes, mucous, etc.) then address those symptoms for just her. If she responds well to Tylosin, then it may be needed to help reduce symptoms.Could you explain what you mean by address her symptoms as they appear? Like isolate her and give her Tylosin again?
She’s laying eggs, I don’t know how to check for reproductive issues. I checked her crop last night and it felt good, it seems like it emptied this morning but she was up and moving before I was so it wasn’t completely empty.
Ok, thank you!!Yes, if she's the only one having symptoms of respiratory illness (coughing, sneezing, bubbles from the eyes, mucous, etc.) then address those symptoms for just her. If she responds well to Tylosin, then it may be needed to help reduce symptoms.
She's laying eggs, the crop is emptying and out moving about and doing chicken things, she may not need further treatment at this time.
