Pullet crowing?????

Why else would someone want all roos?

I'm glad I am finally learning that it's a boy. It has been so confusing. First it's a girl, then a boy, then a girl and now a boy again. I guess I can no longer call her Moira the Merciless, but rather Mad Max instead......

Yea, the face is way too bright red to be a hen and crowing with hens doesn't usually start that early, they usually wait until they start laying to realize they want to "be a boy" lol
 
funny you should post this, I have a young one that started crowing today. He is about 8/9 weeks old also. I call him Hawk and he sounds like a goose when he tries to crow. He is also so much bigger than his 2 other mates that hatched the same day. They are pulletts, I am hoping he is the only roo out of my bunch. any more and I will have to rehome them.
 
Ok, final posting. I'm going to give it back to the breeder this coming weekend. I posted on craigslist with no replies and also asked around. Nobody wants the poor guy, so I will return him to the breeder.
Last night I separated him from the flock and put him in a pen by himself and he has been pacing back and forth continuously. Ugh!
