Pullet is unwell, seems very tired but no other symptoms

She's not herself, she's still in solitary being nursed by yours truly. Thanks for asking! I'm not giving up on her, researching and medicating in case of virus. It's breaking my heart to keep her separated, her friends keep looking for her :he
That’s the worst part; I’m sure they know more than we give them credit for! Prayers for complete healing for Miss Queenie!

@MissNiss, any update on Queenie?

For good measure, I cleaned out the coop today & replaced all the straw. Also dusted all roosts, cracks & nest boxes with permethrin (didn’t want to use elector psp because it’s so cold) and am painting the droppings board. When dry, I’ll fill with fresh sweet PDZ. Hopefully if there were any bugs, they’re gone. Definitely got my exercise pushing a wheelbarrow through snow! Good task to have done before more snow & cold tomorrow!

Queenie is still in solitary, brought her out to check her out and she's not doing well. Been reading up on the viruses and coming to the conclusion it might be that. Looks today like her left side shows signs of weakness. It's been 2 weeks going on like this. I've got her on a routine of nutrition, liquids and herbals not sure what my next step is, I don't want to give up on her. She's looking a bit depressed and it's definitely depressing me. This is the hard part of being responsible for creatures :(

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear she’s not improving ☹️ Come on, Queenie!!! Hopefully if it’s viral it will clear up on its own? Hugs to you both!

I know! She's such a sweet girl, I hate seeing her like this. She's not better, but not worse, so I'm holding hope. Her poops are more solid, but still wet. She's eating what I give her, but I haven't seen her drink, so I've been giving her water in her yogurt mash and via dropper and I'm changing out her water daily so it's hard to tell with my little waterer how much if she has. Thanks for the hugs! Will keep you posted. What a journey this is.

Thought I'd update, Queenie showed paralysis and stopped eating. She crossed over the rainbow bridge.
