Pullet Not Eating: Possible She Ate Styrafoam?

Hi everyone. I have a 6 month old Ameracauna pullet who has been crouched on the floor of the coop for the last 2 days. It is possible she ate pieces of a styrafoam plate she got a hold of (darn kids!). She will not eat, but will drink if I dip her beak in water. Her crop feels like it's partially full of liquid, and when massaged, it gurgles and makes her burp. I can feel a few hard bits in there, but it's mostly liquid. I tried making her empty her crop, but she wouldn't. She is just crouched there, breathing heavily. I am wondering 1) if she ate the styrafoam, is it 2) blocking her crop, or 3) blocking further down. She is pooping small amounts of watery poop. My husband says we can't take her to a vet. If she just has sour crop (not styrafoam), would it cause these symptoms, or is the plate the likely culprit, and is there anything I can do??

Thank you,
Angela
