Pullet or Cockerel? 5 weeks old.

Trying to see if my sapphire splash is a roo or hen... 5 weeks old.. the butt feathers never go up always stay down.

I think it is probably a pullet, but it's a close call. There is some development of the comb. Best to give it another couple of weeks and re-post if things are still unclear.

Sapphire gem hens can have some larger sized wattles and combs compared to other breeds so I’m going to say pullet right now. However, at 5 weeks it’s still a little early to say 100%.
