I think "Dorothy" is going to have to be called "Doro". She looks like a he.

Rose combs are hard to go off of sometimes. It's pretty pink, but I see no wattles. Could go either way.

ETA: If it came from a hatchery or a feed store, it is most likely an EE. Otherwise you'll be paying $15-20/pullet from a breeder.

Yes. Muffs and beards are usually noticeable as day old chicks.
