pullet or cockerel? SLW and BR

Your SLW is an obvious pullet!
Not sure about you Barred rock/ black sex link.
BSL=cockerel BR= pullet

The comb is small and would be MUCH larger If this was a cockerel. The coloring isn't the coloring that a cockerel wpuld have.
Hope this helps!

This description is for SLW
That's so great to know. She's very submissive too. When I try to reach for her in the coop, she squats and stays still. I just took new pics lol thank you TONS!

Hey everyone. I got 2 birds that I'm highly suspicious that they are not true breeds nor they are pullets. They are about 10 weeks old. One is a SLW and the second one is a BR. I hope you all can help me figure this out. I bought them a local feed store. Thanks in advance!!! I hope they are pullets. I can't have roosters where I live. Thanks again.

Those are definitely pullets! The coloring of the SLW is misleading simply because she is hatchery-quality, not show-quality.

The other one is just a mix, not a BSL cockerel! A cockerel would NOT have such a small, pale, comb.

Just got this today anyone know what it is? Male or female

That is a pullet
