Pullet or cockerel? What do you think?

Can you tell me what you’re looking at/for to Determine the sex of these Buff orps?? Is it their tail feathers?? Thank you!😊
Their faces are young enough looking that they shouldn't have combs as large as that. Their feathers are male, and they have typical male faces.
I don't judge by tail feathers at this age.

They're beautiful boys.

A definitive way to tell gender is that saddle feathers. Roos have long, pointy ones and hens have short round ones that resemble the rest of their feathers. The orps also have combs that are far to red at this age to be girls.

Thank you for this information; not the news I was hoping for. I live within city limits and not allowed to have roosters. I’ll wait a few more weeks and begin my search for new homes.☹️ I already have a 4 yr old hen ( buff orp) that occasionally crows, she does still lay too.

I’m so sorry to keep posting but I would like to know opinions on this white chicken, don’t know the breed. I have three pics of it and the last pic is in question too? It’s supposed to be an Americana.

The white one looks like a female but hard to tell in the photos. I can’t see any male saddle feathers in any event. This one looks like a mixed breed.
The last photo does looks like an Easter Egger, but it is in shadow and I don’t really see any details. Try posting better photos of this one.😊

I’m back with a few more pics of chicks, they are now 12 weeks old. I’m so confused and I’m starting to be concerned as to whether I have pullets or cockerels. I keep checking their feathers and tails. Can you tell from this pic which is which?? I really appreciate your time and answers.

All look like pullets except the buff and possibly the speckeled sussex. Do you have a head shot of this one?
Head shot of BLRW, too. :)
