I know it's probably still too early but, I just can't resist at least asking about this one. Lol
Welsummer(Dad) x Isa Brown(Mom), 3 weeks.

Ps...Photo of Chick #2(one week) was added because these two chicks share the same parents but look absolutely nothing alike. Lol

They are adorable! 🥰But, as you say yourself they are too young. Probably be able to tell between 5 to 7 weeks a little more.😊
I totally agree on the cuteness level. Lol I had a feeling it would betoo early but I figured it never hurts to ask more experienced people. For some reason I keep thinking cockerel for this one but it's only a guess based on the parents and sibling. I'm a huge fan of guessing games so I like to test myself. Lol I'll post again in a few weeks. Thanks! 😁

Which one is the father and which is the mother?

I'm a bit surprised by how much white the chick has!
Dad is the Welsummer, Mom is the Isa. Attached pics of both plus a pic of another chick(one week), that shares the same parents. They're so different!

I agree, those two chicks certainly are different. Looks like one got all the light colors, and one all the dark colors!

I'll bet they grow up into really pretty chickens! (But I currently have no idea about their genders, unfortunately.)
