Pullet or cockerel?

My barred rocks looked like this and I was worried one was a rooster but they all turned out to be hens
That is great because I bought 6 to be hens. I have 4 roosters and 6 hens (1 Silkie ( that hatched 3 roosters) 1 buff orpington and 4 sapphire gems. This is not good math for chickens and I was able to talk my husband into getting 6 more pullets from Tractor Supply. I at least want 3 hens to each rooster and 12 will do that. I would have much more hens if I was allowed to and I just can't rehome my roosters. I cuddle them all of the time. I believe they are all hens also. I did get one Australorp in the pullets bin when I got the barred rocks. They all looked alike then. At least I think it is an Australorp. Will send a picture.

1 roo to 3 hens still seems like way too much mating will happen for your ladies. If you are set on keeping all your roos, you could do a small rooster coop & run separate from the ladies to keep them from getting hurt. 😊 I think @RoostersAreAwesome has a separate Roo coop.

Are all your roosters bantams? If they are, your ratio is probably fine, but if they aren’t, you may need to keep a separate rooster-only flock to prevent over-mating and excessive fighting between roosters.
