This bird looks like my black copper marans hens! They lay beautiful chocolate speckled eggs!I think I understand the ‘leakage’ areas a bit better now (making actual notes)…so this young bird…where the leakage is…is that considered the shoulders or neck area? So this would be a boy (ignoring the lack of waddle and comb-which makes me want to say girl)?
