4 months old Silkie any guess?? Pullet or roo? The powder is bc it got just got dusted for mites if any one wonder .

Sorry you have to deal with mites. I dust all birds I get from outside sources, whether I see mites or not.
Yes it creep me out on how much mites the chicken got .. I never dealt with it before in my flock but I did a lot of research before I have chicken . So far I bath her then rinse then let her sit in vinegar water . I dried her off and I dust her off with de but I don’t think that will work . But I did put permethrin dust n a lice comb on order for tommorow . But it creep me out to the point I think ima dust everyone n clean all the cages to be safe .
