Pullet or roo?

I was told these are 6 month old naked neck pullets. I’m new to chickens and am still learning. Any idea if these two are pullets, age, and what they could be mixed with? One has extra toes and feathers growing on feet.

They look younger than six months to me. Maybe four months at most. They both look like boys as well. Hopefully other posters familiar with naked necks will reply!

I think I’m seeing male feathering. Can you get some really clear photos of the tail area? They are a bit mixed, they shouldn’t have so many feathers on their neck.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who will take advantage of folks who are new to chicken raising.We see it on this forum all the time. I am no expert in the naked neck chicken though feathering and combs look male to me. Likely other folks will post, see what other forum members think.

They are both cockerels, are not 6 months old (a little over 3 months, probably), and they are naked neck crosses. Purebred naked necks have plumage in solid colors and have yellow legs, except the black variety, which has black legs.

I would contact the seller and see what they are willing to do to fix the problem.

Lol, exactly. All chickens have talons from day 1. Spurs, on the other hand is the correct word.

They had a beautiful farm and a bunch of birds so I thought they’d be more knowledgeable.

I’m definitely thinking I was lied to. They haven’t crowed yet, but they do look roo.
