So this "pullet" is about 16 weeks old. The feathers on the neck are more rounded tips. The comb and wattle are pretty small. Much smaller than my other hens at the same age.
However...This single tail feather that is curved has me worried this pullet is not a pullet.
It's a "Barnyard Mix". The person wasn't sure who the parents were because they were allowing the chickens to just breed freely. They were fairly confident they had sexed them early on.
Opinions?
This one curved tail feather is causing me concern I have a Roo.

Woohoo! I was picking her up in a bit of a stressful time. I was in Clarksville, TN when that tornado hit, actually right before I got there to pick her up by a few minutes.
So I was a bit distracted when selecting them. Later I saw the curved tail feather and grew concerned it was a Roo in the making. But all the other signs pointed to pullet.
Thanks!

Yeah, her tail feathers are just a bit wonky. Pullet though! :)

That is a pullet! And beautiful at that!! She looks like my White Rock x Barred Rock mix, Zebra. Hopefully she lays a beautiful egg to go along with her beautiful feathers.
The feather just looks loose likes it's going to fall out or something.

That's what I thought too. It was like a little Cowlick going on. 🤣
I actually chose her because she just looked so striking compared to the others. She just looked really pretty to me.
