Pullet or roo?

Up until now I had been thinking this was a little lady. These last few days I’m doubting - she’s started to get brown patches on her back and her neck feathers seem longer and pointy EE born June 29.

Sorry he ended up being a cockerel. I know how you feel. I had two that were supposed to be pullets but were actually cockerels. We had to cull.
Do you have a plan for him? Can you keep him?

I don’t know yet I ordered 30 day olds from the hatchery and 9 have turned out to be roos. So I have to make some choices about who says and who goes I want to keep them all!!! But my husband says no haha.

I know I wish it wasn’t the case haha. I’m almost at the point of too attached. Just feels mean to cull. But I know it needs to be done also how to choose which ones..

Did you order straight run? Sex linked birds will guarantee you hens.
