Pullet or Roo?

Hi guys, I’m new to most things chicken but especially EE’s and these two really have me stumped! They’re both 8 weeks old. The black and white one I thought was a roo but he doesn’t have any of the red, yellow or orange anywhere. It doesn’t matter either way but just curious.

Both look like pullets to me, but I’m also not great with this breed. They’re beautiful though! And welcome to BYC! This is a fantastic group of poultry lovers, and we’re glad to have you!

I would watch closely the Black and White, the "splotchy" coloration seems to always tend to be a Cockerel, the other is a Pullet for sure. 4 more weeks and you'll know better about the B&W.

First chicken pictured looks to be a pullet! The black and white one needs more time, as I'm not too sure on gender.

It's pretty hard to tell, but I think the brown one is a pullet, and the white one is a rooster
