Pullet? Rooster?

I can keep him if I want to, but I don't know if I want to. I have Harvey the Great :love and I was going to keep Greybeard. I didn't want more than two. I just wanted a rooster that I can get something other than black chicks! I have to think about this more. And sell the other two roosters ASAP now! :barnie

I understand completely. I have 2 cockrells from my last hatch that I would love to keep but Doris hates ALL other roosters (I've heard it's an Easter egger trait). I can keep them separated but when I've kept more than one, they just spend all their time trying to out -crow & out-love each other. Still, it is hard to give them up.

It Official now. Lucille is crowing and boyhood is confirmed without any doubt. Now it's Harvey, Jethro, Greybeard and Lucille (new name Virden) all trying to prove to one another that their "testosterone" is more powerful that any one elses!! Again all I can say is Damn! Five roosters, two are being sold, that leaves three when I only wanted two.. . . :hit :he :barnie

I know how you feel. I wanted three roosters. At the moment I'm up to six... so far... :idunno

Update: Greybeard and Virden (was Lucille) continue to develop in such different ways! Greybeard has long neck and saddle feathers, Virden does not. Greybeard crows often and acts like any other Rooster does. Virden crows very rarely and has a different manner of body position than what I'm used to. He will stretch his neck and looks like he is trying to be taller, stretching his legs as well. He's just different!
Here's Greybeard today:
